What the site is

Agency Scout is an information service. Rankings and profiles are calculated from public Google Business Profile data using the method described on our methodology page. They are an evidence-based starting point, not a recommendation, guarantee or endorsement of any agency.

Accuracy

We work to keep the data accurate, but it comes from third-party sources, changes over time and may contain errors. Check important details directly with an agency before relying on them. You can report errors to hello@agencyscout.co.za.

Links to agencies and other websites are provided for convenience. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices.

The Get matched service

When you submit a brief, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. With your consent, we pass your brief to up to three agencies we consider suitable. Any agreement you then make is between you and the agency; Agency Scout is not a party to it and doesn’t guarantee an agency’s work. See our privacy policy for how your information is handled.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no submitting false or spam briefs, attempting to disrupt the service, or scraping it in a way that places an unreasonable load on our servers.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, rankings and compilations are ours. You may quote or link to individual rankings with attribution to Agency Scout. Business names and marks belong to their owners.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the site is provided “as is”, and Agency Scout is not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, information on the site or from dealings with any agency. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the current version on this page.
